I have recently purchased this set from Penhaligon. To say that I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. What was noticeable, was the quality of the packaging. The box is beautifully embossed and is of high quality. Upon opening the box, the inside of the lid contains a quirky little message that brings a smile to the face. The fragrances themselves come in 5 ml bottles, each uniquely labelled and with pull cord to gently lift them out of the inlay. The stopper is also well fitting and secure so as to prevent any leakage. The fragrance I tried first was Halfeti. Not like any aftershave I have used before. This felt oily and luxurious. The citrus tones were apparent straight away upon application. This gave way to a more spiced aroma that was long lasting and pleasant. Juniper Sling was selected for the next day and was an absolute joy to wear. This was fresh, fragrant, long lasting and a very elegant aroma, perfect for a dinner date with that someone special. I left it a few days before trying Endymion Concentre. If anything delivers Britishness to the nostrils, it is this fragrance. From the moment it was applied to my skin, I felt special. This has a heady fragrance of Bergamot and I felt completed my grooming and appearance. Quercus is light, Fresh and citrus and is perfect for that summer's day, Clean shaven look. Again, it is a cologne whose fragrance is matched by its longevity. Finally, Blenheim Bouquet. Citrus and spice that works so well to deliver a quality fragrance for those warm summer evenings. On the whole, this collection is a must have for a gentleman's grooming as it contains fragrances for all seasons and certainly for those important events from something as mundane as a meeting to an event as important as your wedding day. These are unique, quintessentially British and your nostrils are waiting!
