THE BAKER'S DOZEN - FESTIVE BAKES

In honour of the opening of Penhaligon's Bakery (that's our Christmas gift shop, don't you know), we've invited bakeries across London to create some festive favourites inspired by our very own scents. Now, pour yourself a cup of tea (or mulled wine, there's no judgement here), plate up a mince pie and enjoy these showstopping delights come to life. You can even find the recipe for some of these, if you fancy yourself a bit of a star baker.

THE DANDY CHRISTMAS PUDDING

Created by Presto, a design-led cake and chocolatier, the traditional Christmas pudding has been reimagined as a Christmas Pyramid inspired by our newest fragrance, The Dandy. An homage to endless nights at the speakeasy, Presto has incorporated fruits steeped in whisky and spices then drizzled in an early grey and bergamot glaze to make this a festive showstopper you'll remember long after the party has ended.

Up for the challenge? You can find the recipe here.

FESTIVE FOLLY MINCE PIES

London-based boulangerie Miel has put a spin on the classic mince pie in celebration of our limited-edition candle, Festive Folly. The warmth of vanilla and Christmas spice comes to life in their brandy-infused mincemeat and rich shortcrust pastry. We’re not sure whether it’s the candle or the mince pies, but it’s beginning to smell a lot like Christmas...

If you'd like to try and make these for yourself, you can find the recipe here.

PENHALIGON'S ALULA YULE LOG

Making an indulgent entrance, award-winning bakery Bread by Bike has put a fruity spin on a Christmas classic. This heavenly yule log has been inspired by Penhaligon's AlUla, one of our latest scents with notes of plum, incense and vanilla. The yule log is made with plum jam and incense panna cotta, wrapped in a turmeric sponge, coated in a dark chocolate and black pepper ganache.

LUNA PANETTONE

An ever-popular festive specialty hailing from Italy, we asked North London-based British Patagonia to create a panettone celebrating Luna, our iconic eau de toilette with notes of bergamot, rose and fir balsam. This bread-like cake has been made with fresh pine to imitate the note of fir balsam, then lavishly drizzled with bergamot drizzle for a real wintry showstopper.
