Surprise find
My husband bought me the Portraits library as a stocking filler and Changing Constance was my favourite. I've now bought a full size bottle.I don't usually like gourmand fragrances but it's also an amber and a bit leathery: I always partial to those!

Simply stunning !
I purchased an atomiser and had it filled complimentary, this beauty was the chosen scent. I’m converted it’s simply stunning, the salted caramel light notes shine through. For me It knocks halfeti off the top spot. . I definitely will be purchasing this,

Changing Constance is one of my favourite Portraits characters. Her fierce and strong nature is admirable. My favourite note in this fragrance is the salted butter caramel, this mixed with vanilla created a beautiful but niche scent.

Never before have a resonated so strongly with a fragrance. As somebody who tends to select fragrance olfactively, ( opting for green, zesty unisex fragrances usually) I would never normally reach for a fragrance with Salted Butter Caramel being showcased. However everything about Changing Constance is a joyful surprise. Reminding me daily that you can be strong and feminist (cardamom, pimento and tobacco) yet soft and feminine (Salted Butter Caramel and Cashmeran). Why compromise when you can have it all? I layer Constance over Babylon body lotion in the summer to let the sun transport my fragrance to the noses of passers by. In winter, my coat and scarf are doused with her on cold evenings, feeling like a sweet and spicy embrace. If Constance were a person, I’m sure she’d be my best friend.

Sweet, foody, festive.
This is my favourite of the Portraits. I imagine it’s not for everyone, but it has a particularly sweet, puddingy smell - rather like a spicy butterscotch. Works best (in my opinion) in the autumn and winter - particularly Christmas.

all time favourite
I first found this perfume through some lovely lady in an airport fragrance store. Out of all the perfumes she showed me, this one stood out to me, so I had it sprayed on my wrist. The whole flight I smelled it, it's that divine. It's warm, rich, the salted caramel butter is so special and the little hint of tobacco really does the trick to round it off. This is not something that you'll find in your usual perfumery. So, long story short: I have dreamt of Changing Constance ever since that flight, I bought it, I've been wearing it every day since and I'll definitely repurchase!
